Dr. Stefanie Grade

Stefanie Grade is a professor of horticultural plant production at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences and Technology (Hochschule für Technik). With a background in biotechnology (TU Braunschweig) and a PhD in horticultural engineering (Leibniz Universität Hannover), she has a broad understanding of the horticultural industry.

Stafanie’s experience as both an R&D professional in the substrate industry and a lecturer on sustainable plant production systems has honed her focus on creating sustainable and circular production systems for secure plant production especially in urban areas.

With her passion for sustainability and expertise in horticulture, she is dedicated to finding innovative solutions for a greener future.
