Our growing media

Growing media, also known as substrate, refers to the material in which plants grow. It is used in controlled environments such as greenhouses and controlled open-field farming. Growing media also plays a crucial role in cultivating tree saplings for afforestation and increasing urban tree canopy cover.

An optimal growing media provides essential support and nutrients to plant roots, enabling them to thrive. It can be made from a variety of materials, including peat, coir, compost, and other organic or inorganic substances. These materials are carefully selected and blended to create an optimal environment for plant growth, ensuring proper aeration, moisture retention, and nutrient availability.
Substrate blends are customized to support plant health, enhance natural resistance against pests and diseases, and maximize yield for growers. Growing media enables the year-round availability of fresh herbs, vegetables, fruits, and mushrooms.

As a growing media company, we are dedicated to enhancing people’s lives and their environments through eco-friendly practices. For the benefit of our customers and the environment, we strive for transparency in all our efforts. We are committed to doubling the amount of circular raw materials in our substrates by 2027. Our innovation team is constantly testing new circular raw materials and their combinations, as well as developing their value chains. On this page, you can learn not only about our substrates but also about the raw materials we use. Discover why we chose them, how we harvest them, and our vision for their future.
